How to Kill Process that is Dead but Listening

In my case, i want kill the process that using port number 8888 as shown below:

1. Find process that you want to kill

C:\Users\mno>netstat -o -n -a | findstr 0.0:8888



2. Run this command to kill the process:

C:\Users\mno>taskkill /F /PID 2944


SUCCESS: The process with PID 2944 has been terminated.

Result after kill:
